Police Report, Officer Wendy Martin

LeBlond Report, Theresa Miller
- Pools are officially closed
- Fall Hours (M-F: 12- 8, Sat: 10 - 3)
- Wake and Skate program on the first Sunday of the month beginning in November - for all seasons
School Report, Karen Hordinski, School Resource Coordinator
- School year has begun
- 400 students this year (~300 at Spencer, ~100 at Riverview East)
- Both schools have combined extracurricular activities and clubs
- Principal and Vice Principals are working as one school but the teachers are operating separately
- 6th grade students are building a canoe and collecting donations (Larosa’s Buddy Cards will be at the next EEAC meeting)
- “Pantry Items” in need: deodorant, socks (adult size socks is most in need), shampoo & condition, toothpaste
Treasurer Report, Kathy Schwab - No report
NSP Report, Regina Moss
- NSP plans will be finalized next month
East End Business District
- Thank you to the East End Business District for the new playground at Spicer Park and the work from Andrew and Anna to put it together.
Garden Committee
- Our garden has become a flower and vegetable garden and is beautiful this year
City Liaison, Jane Sites
- Lunken Development has passed and 2 years to complete
- Restaurant and bars will be open to the public
- There have been a few noise complaints from the Mt. Washington community so please flag to Jane if there are issues
- Lunken and Sky Galley is not a registered historic site: Jane will bring this to the next board meeting and it is up to the
Riverside Drive Traffic Safety Committee
- Petitioning for the city to do a comprehensive analysis of safety of Riverside Drive:
- Reconsider the placement of the speed bumps along Riverside Drive (i.e. moving them in front of parking lots vs in front of condominiums)
- Traffic Signaling
- Traffic Blitz
President Report
- Spicer Park's new playground is open for the neighborhood and visiting children!
- Signage, benches, table coming soon
- TIF Home Improvement Program
- A Nominating Committee is needed to help recommend candidates for next year's Board.
- ReLeaf Opens: September 13th, Native Tree Sale looking for $30 sponsorships

- 311 System is ineffective - trees growing on Columbia Parkway, how can we as a community demand more support from the city
