September and October minutes approved
Police Report, Officer Wendy Martin
- New District 2 Police Captain
- Theft from auto: 1
- Auto theft: 1
- Personal/Other theft: 2
- Lot of bike thefts, be on the lookout there is one particular suspect the police has their eye on but if you see something, say something
School Report, Karen Hordinski, School Resource Coordinator
- Open House on January 24th
- Schools are closed November 4th and November 11th
- Received grant and have received 40 winter coats
- In light of the government shutdown, the school pantry is open and will have shelf stable foods, open 11:45 - 1:15pm
- For the holidays, looking to send gift cards of $50 to grocery stores for the parent of families
- “Pantry Items” always in need: deodorant, socks (adult size socks is most in need), shampoo & condition, toothpaste
- December 19th is the last day of school before break
LeBlond Report, Theresa Miller
- Service Area Coordinator Taylor Singleton is back! Thank you Theresa for filling in!
- Wake and Skate has been canceled
- December 20th Cincinnati Holiday Extravaganza at Madisonville Rec Center
- 4 sessions for families to shop for coats and gifts, etc.
- Historically kids will be brought to the event and spoil their Holiday gifts - this year, there will be events for the kids while the parents shop and black bags for gifts
- Looking for volunteers and will be serving about 500 families
NSP Report, Regina Moss
- NSP plans will be finalized by the middle of November
- Few funds still remaining but will be allocated by the time the report is submitted
City Liaison, Jane Sites
- No updates
Garden Committee
- No updates
Riverside Drive Traffic Safety Committee
- Will update residents and truck drivers when enforcement begins
- Coordination is taking some time with the police, traffic liaisons, residents etc.
Treasurer Report, Kathy Schwab - excused
- Current report included in the October minutes
Nominating Committee:
- Steve will be moving out of the neighborhood sometime next year
- Working on a possible solution to have Laura Rogers as president and Steve to support
- Looking at the bylaws to confirm what is allowed
- Slate being proposed will include Laura Rogers in some capacity with the intention Steve stepping down
President Report
- Looking to form an official Development/Affordable Housing Committee - motion approved
- Spicer Park: meeting at the City Planning Commission on Friday November 7th that will confirm the city is leasing their lot of Spicer Park to the East End in a 99 year lease
- TIF Home Improvement Program going to become a law
